Susquehanna Cancer Center became an affiliate of Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, a prestigious organization for cancer care, treatment, education and research in the fall of 2005. Over the past years, the Cancer Center has established its own reputation for excellence in the care and treatment of cancer patients and through this new affiliation we bring an expanded dimension of care to our patients and an impressive opportunity for education and research for our physicians. In addition, the affiliation offers the most advanced cancer services to patients throughout north central Pennsylvania.

Under the agreement, both organizations maintain their independence but work together to expand and develop clinical specialty services, recruit world-class medical specialists and jointly develop disease management programs, educational opportunities and a coordinated approach for referrals.
