Our Emergency department at The Williamsport Hospital campus is divided into two separate treatment areas - Emergency and UrgiCenter. These two areas allow for a flow of patients in a timely and efficient manner based on their injury or illness. They also enable us to provide our patients' care with the most appropriate care provider in the setting that is best suited to their individual needs.

The Emergency department on our Muncy Valley Hospital campus provides easy access to a full range of emergency services for residents throughout the eastern part of Lycoming County.

When you or a loved one suffer a physical or neurological injury that requires intensive rehabilitation, you want the very best care available. For over 30 years, the Gibson Rehabilitation Center has been providing that care. We are a regional leader in rehabilitative medicine, helping those who have suffered debilitating injuries to regain their highest level of independence. We provide services on all three campuses of Susquehanna Health System as well as in our Skilled Nursing Unit in Muncy and at Valley View Nursing Center in Williamsport.

Set in the Muncy community, the Skilled Nursing Unit offers Christian based holistic care, security, comfort and a wide range of services to individuals needing specialized long term care and rehabilitation during short term stays. Private rooms, sunny family alcoves, a full-service rehabilitation area designed for occupational, physical, speech, recreational and restorative therapies and large dining/recreation areas are features of this newly constructed facility. A staff of nurses, social workers and activities therapists provide services dedicated to the long term care resident.

Many people faced with the realization that they are terminally ill choose to remain at home with family and friends. Susquehanna Regional Home Health Hospice provides a way for families to stay together under one roof. Using a medically supervised team approach, family members participate in the patient's care within the home environment. Access to Hospice care is available through the on-call system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Bridge Program is designed for patients who have a life-limiting or terminal disease.

Patients in the Bridge Program continue aggressive treatment but receive specialized hospice care, though they do not yet embrace the Hospice philosophy. The Bridge Program is appropriately used as a stepping stone for those considering end-of-life options while still persuing assertive treatment.
