Causes include stroke, radiation for throat and neck cancer, central nervous system diseases (Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis) and aging. Susquehanna Neuroscience Center's new Dysphagia program is led by Lawrence Tomack, M.D., rehabilitation doctor, and includes speech pathologists, dietitians and occupational therapists who develop specialized care plans and direct referrals.
