Everyone teaches here, attendings, specialists, senior residents, junior residents, nurses, respiratory therapists or pharmacists. At any hour of the day or night, any team member is ready to stop to help refine my knowledge, as I am to help them. We get good, constructive feedback from our fellow residents and attendings that helps polish our skills and techniques. It is a learning environment like no other. |

Flexibility It is important that a program adapt to the particular needs of each resident. We are capable of arranging specialized electives, developing tutorials and changing curriculum to respond to an individual's needs. We have a two-track system in obstetrics. The first track provides basic prenatal education. A second track is available for residents who want more experience, especially for those planning to perform obstetrics upon graduation. Residents, with the approval of the faculty and compliant with the American Board of Family Medicine guidelines, can design new electives. |
