Larry Allison Sr., President of Allison Crane & Rigging

A $100,000 Signature Gift from Allison Crane & Rigging toward Project 2012, highlights years of service to Susquehanna Health System by company president Larry Allison Sr. The connection began in the early 1990s when Lefty Wagner asked Larry to serve on his golf tournament committee which benefits programs and services at the three hospitals of Susquehanna Health. A few years later Larry became chairman of the Lefty Wagner Community Golf Tournament and continues in that role today.

Under Larry’s leadership in 2008, the tournament’s fundraising results topped $1 million.

“It was great to hit that mark. Each year we try to maintain or slightly grow our bottom line net figure,” says Larry. “Truly the foundation staff and committee members are the back bone to the ongoing success of this tournament.”

Larry says his company is honored to be working with Susquehanna Health in the construction phases of Project 2012, and the timing was right to support this exciting venture for the health system.

“Our employees feel a great deal of satisfaction and pride being a part of this project,” explains Larry. “I know these improvements go a long way toward continuing to attract highly skilled medical professionals to the area and making people in our community feel secure and comfortable with the quality and level of healthcare that’s available here.”

Allison Crane & Rigging specializes in cranes, rigging, steel erection, millwrighting and servicing the natural gas industry. The company was founded 1976 and has two satellite locations within Pennsylvania and more than 60 employees in Williamsport. Larry Allison Sr., is president. His son, Larry Allison Jr., is assistant vice president and secretary.
