Sports Medicine Specialist, Orthopedic Specialists and certified athletic trainers in the Sports Medicine Center Center use the latest techniques for evaluating musculoskeletal problems, rehabilitation and exercise instruction. Using a team approach, we identify the specific needs of each individual. This multidisciplinary approach allows for patient goals and individual treatment plans to be accomplished quickly and effectively.
Specialists are available for appointments Monday through Thursday in the Sports Medicine Center to diagnose and establish a treatment plan for injured individuals. Athletes, athletic trainer and/or coach receive written information outlining a treatment plan. Sports injury surgical repair services include:
• Diagnosis and treatment of knee injuries – arthroscopic meniscus surgery
• Arthroscopic ACL reconstruction
• Minimally invasive arthroscopic labral repair
• Open bankhart repair for unstable dislocating shoulders
