Susquehanna Health Hospital Bill Payment Agreements
Susquehanna Health guarantor balances for hospital services are due in full at the time a first statement is received. (The guarantor is the person responsible for paying the bill). For patients with no insurance coverage, a prompt payment uninsured discount is available to the guarantor. Monthly Payment Agreements can also be established (for a minimum monthly payment of 10% of the outstanding balance) according to the guarantor’s financial needs. Monthly statements will be sent to the guarantor for the established payment amount. [A minimum monthly payment of $50 is required for outstanding balances less than $500].
Guarantors requesting lower payments will be referred to HRG (Healthcare Resources Group) who will establish a payment plan with an agreed payment amount, and an interest rate of 6%. Payment booklets will be provided. This option allows guarantors to make affordable payments without the need to secure private financing.
