This program is for patients who have had total joint replacements, hip fractures, leg fractures, spinal fusion and individuals with vertebral and pelvic fractures. We provide a coordinated program of individualized patient evaluation, setting patient/treatment goals and developing a specific treatment plan based on our patient’s specific needs.
Our Specialty Program
Orthopedic Rehabilitation offers a specialized program to help patients prepare for their total joint replacement as well as spinal fusion.
Pre-admission Total Joint Class
Consists of three one-hour sessions, offered each week, coordinated with Pre-admission Testing, presented by our Orthopedic Nurse Liaison, an occupational therapist and a physical therapist.
Follow-Up
If you have a total knee procedure, your surgeon will want you to go for outpatient physical therapy three to five days a week after your discharge. This therapy can be at one of our five locations or at a facility closer to your home.
A Gym to Call Your Own
A key component of our plan to help you regain your independence is a dynamic gym located on the same floor. Staffed by a dedicated team of physical therapists and occupational therapists, the gym is for the exclusive use of our joint and spine patients. We’ve created an inspiring environment, enhanced by a wall of windows that provides natural light and soothing views. Here, therapists will work with you individually on your specific care plans.
