As you reach week 32 of your pregnancy, the end is in sight and your newborn will be in your arms before you know it. Between weeks 32 and 36, you should schedule your pre-admission hospital visit. During this visit you will spend about 90 minutes with a nurse going over information that will help ease the admission process when you come to deliver your baby. During the visit you may:
- Be asked questions about your pregnancy and medical history
- Take a tour of The Birthplace
- Watch family-centered DVDs
- Learn about the visitation policy
- Fill out your registration form
- Receive other important educational information
- Have your breastfeeding questions and concerns addressed
